By far the best experience I have had with this office from start to finish! I hugged her ! My husband said “it was the best Dr. appointment he has ever sat in on”. Since I broke my toe and have seen Urgent Care , then to emergency room , Dr Prechtl was the first one to take the best care of me !!! I have hope and mentally and physically, feel so much better !

For over a year I suffered with terrible pain in both of my feet. I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Prechtl and can say with confidence that she is an excellent diagnostician. Her recommendations, treatment plan and the custom orthotics prescribed did the trick. I am pain free and very grateful for her expertise and care.

I had been struggling with plantar fasciitis in my left foot for over a year before I made an appointment with Dr. Prechtl. Dr. Prechtl patiently listened to my symptoms while also asking me about my lifestyle and the interventions I had tried already. She planned a treatment for me that was effective and had me back to my running routine in just a couple of months. I still do the exercises she showed me and I haven’t had a problem since!

Dr. Prechtl is amazing. She took the time to explain everything to me in great detail and answered every question I had. I never felt rushed and she really listened to me. One of the best Dr. experiences I had.

I was under personal stress for a long period of time and neglected medical attention to my left foot. The delay aggravated the situation leading to an involved medical procedure. In May 2018, Dr. Nancy performed the needed correction surgery at the Melrose/Wakefield Hospital. The day following the surgery, Dr.Nancy called to inquire how I was coping especially my tolerance for discomfort or pain. A post surgery appointment was scheduled for the following week and continued on a bi-weekly basis for several months. I was instructed in the proper post-surgical care to prevent infection and how to properly fit a special “air boot” to help in the healing process. At each visit, Dr. Nancy compared x-rays to document the healing progress. As my foot healing improved, I was discharged from medical oversight with a suggestion to not push too hard; but to be kind and patient to myself in care. A full year has now passed and I have returned to wearing pretty shoes and walking once again in the warm sunlight. Anyone with foot discomfort should be so fortunate to receive the warmth and gentle care that Dr. Nancy extends to her patients.
